My name is David. I was born and raised in a small village in Belgium.

I am a painter who gave a new twist to his life.

It all started when I was 29. Happy, but not satisfied with my lifegoals. I decided to quit my normal life and go on an adventure with my backpack and camera.

A year and a half later, I returned home after having traveled through Southeast Asia, Australia, India & Nepal and crossing the entire continent of Africa from north to south.

The end of my adventures? No, it was just the beginning.

This adventure sparked my interest in photography. After returning home, I went out and bought myself a second hand DSLR-camera. I taught myself how to use it. Armed with my camera, I traveled the American continent from Ushuaia to Alaska during a 13 months trip.

One year passed, and I bought myself a new camera and learned some new tricks and tools. I went and crossed Africa for a second time. Then onto Istanbul and Iran. I continued my travels following the Silk Road through Central Asia into Mongolia, ending up in Korea and Japan.

Life gave me a new purpose: to explore the world, and capture its natural beauty.

Our planet is filled to the brim with stunning scenery, cultural diversity and exhilarating wildlife. I want to share this abundance through my photography.

Sit back, and enjoy the ride.
